My Install/Upgrade Notes On Equity Edge With Oracle Database With Windows 2003 Server

man_with_equity_money_cash.jpgThis is my rough notes on Equity Edge installation with Oracle Database. People are looking for Equity Edge Password or Password reset. Equity Edge does not provide sys or system password unless enterprise edition is purchased. With work group edition, Password reset is the main issue for Equity Edge. You can try this oracle unapproved method => Password reset try!

Note: E-trade Never gives SYS and SYSTEM password for Equity Edge Work Group Licenses. They only provide the details for Enterprise Versions. They have strict compliance with e-trade and Oracle Corporation agreement. Hence, follow their advise and documents properly and step by step.

These notes are taken during 6.2 installation. You need to refer the equity edge documentation for the version you have.

1. Install oracle 9i from the “Database Management System CD”.
2. Run upgrade from the Installation CD (Other CD).
3. When Prompts for Upgrade, Do upgrade.
4. After installation is complete, click close/Cancel.
5. If you have any issue, cancel the upgrade and do the following.
6. Go to oracle installation and uninstall all the homes.
7. Clear everything from the registry
8. Install again oracle 9i from the “Database Management System CD”.
9. Run again upgrade from the Installation CD (Other CD).
10. Copy and backup TNSNAMES.
11. Run upgrade 6.1
12. Run upgrade 6.2

Restart the system.

Hello

Article submission is a great method of building links back to your website

Provide quality information and free products or services that get “good word of mouth” recommendations from your visitors.

Diversify your traffic.

If Google suspects that you are trying to deceive it web crawler and thus its users by including hidden text, misleading or repeated words, pages that don’t match your sites description, deceptive redirects, duplicate site or pages, or other disingenuous tactics, then Google may delist your site from its index.

Great plugin! I tried a few others and this was the only one that functioned the way I needed. Great work!
